1- Introduce yourself
2- Take verbal consent
3- Explain the procedure to the patient appropriately(not to move head, notify you when the subject feel pain during movement and double vision)
4- Check gross visual acuity
5- Give definite target for near fixation
6- Check pursuit eye movement in right and left gaze
7- Check extraocular movements in six cardinal positions
8- Check midline elevation and depression for fatigability and lid lag
9- Check vergences by giving two targets, one for near and other for far
10- Check saccadic eye movements
11- Pay thanks to patient
