1- Introduce yourself
2- Take verbal consent
3- Explain the procedure to the patient appropriately
4- Instruction to patient (tight closure of eyelids during attempted opening by the examiner)
5- Check each eye separately
6- Ask the patient to look down
7- Elevate the upper lid with your finger tightly
8- Ask the patient to close his eye forcefully
9- Look and explain about movement/rolling of eyeball
10- Repeat the procedure 2-3 times
11- Pay thanks to the patient
